Rehabilitation first
We aim to improve access to appropriate rehabilitation resources, assistive equipment, education and community-based support.
United Kingdom & Sierra Leone
YADAMA combines rehabilitation, humanitarian relief and community partnership to help people work towards greater dignity, safety and independence.
Who we are
YADAMA Relief & Rehabilitation Foundation supports vulnerable individuals and communities in Sierra Leone, while building connections with supporters, volunteers and professionals in the United Kingdom.
Our primary direction is rehabilitation and restoring independence for people living with disabilities and those recovering from stroke or neurological conditions. We also provide food, clothing, essential supplies and other practical assistance when needs are identified and resources are available.
The Foundation was established by Adama Mansary, a UK-based Occupational Therapist, after witnessing limited rehabilitation resources during a visit to a stroke rehabilitation department in Sierra Leone in 2022.
