What we do
Immediate humanitarian relief and specialist rehabilitation support, working together to restore dignity and independence.
When families face hardship, we respond with food, clothing, hygiene supplies, emergency assistance and community-based humanitarian support.
During February and March 2026, YADAMA distributed 100 Ramadan food packs to vulnerable older adults in Port Loko District and served 200 hot meals to people experiencing homelessness, people who are blind, and people living with disabilities in Freetown.
We improve access to rehabilitation services, mobility aids, assistive devices, adaptive equipment, occupational therapy, physiotherapy and community-based rehabilitation programmes.
Rehabilitation restores more than physical function. It supports confidence, participation, independence and dignity for children and adults living with disabilities or recovering from illness and injury.
Disability should never prevent someone from learning, working, joining community life or accessing compassionate care. We help remove practical and social barriers by combining appropriate equipment with advocacy, education and inclusive programme design.
Our work supports people across ages and backgrounds, with care shaped around individual priorities and the meaningful activities of everyday life.
We work alongside local communities, healthcare providers and partner organisations to promote inclusion, improve health and wellbeing, strengthen local capacity and create sustainable opportunities for future generations.
Community knowledge guides our priorities. By listening first and collaborating throughout, we build support that is relevant, respectful and designed to last.
The Process
From donation to doorstep — here is how every contribution reaches the people who need it most.
Families, volunteers, and community leaders identify households in need of support.
Your donations are used to purchase essential food parcels, equipment, and supplies.
Our volunteer team packs every parcel carefully and prepares for distribution day.
Parcels are delivered directly to families — no middlemen, no delays, 100% reach.
Make it happen
Your donation directly funds food, equipment, and community outreach for those who need it most.
